The country fried steak with gravy was fantastic. And the eggs were perfectly cooked. The service was great also.

Wow! We felt like family here. Small home like diner that feels like you have stepped back in time. The biscuits and gravy are fabulous. The open face roast beef is the best we have ever had. The biscuits are fluffy. I’d never heard of buttermilk pie, but heard another table discussing it, it’s amazing too! It feels like you are eating at Grandma’s house.

Real food, cooked correctly.

Best Gluten Free pancakes I have ever had! The Kitchen Sink omelette is wonderful and the portions are crazy big, especially for the price. And the relaxed welcoming environment is like eating at home with friends and family but with someone else cooking and cleaning up!

Great food!! Great service! Wanda is usually here working and greeting customers that's the way it should be.

I'm not one to post anything negative, but my experience was not the best. Food took nearly an hour to serve after sitting down and only seeing one person actually eating. Waitress was rude and aloof and ignored us. Food was good, but I will never go back after that experience. I'm not looking for fast food but I've got a schedule too.

Wow great home style cooking. The hot beef and gravy is a big serving, real potatoes. And the buttermilk pie is fabulous.

What a great restaurant! The staff is so friendly and attentive, the food is great and the pies are out of this world!

This place is excellent. A small and quiet country style restaurant. With exceptionally friendly staff and great home cooking, worth the stop in.

This is a great local restaurant. We were looking for a house to buy in De Soto and stopped here for lunch. We were welcomed like regulars and now we ARE regulars. The food is good, old fashioned comfort food. My wife loves the open faced roast beef sandwich. I've tried various menu items and loved them all.

Wanda is just like mom! there aint no better place to go out and eat. the prices are amazing. can treat yourself very well without worrying about your wallet!

You get your money's worth at Wanda's! Thick, large slice of ham to go along with eggs, potatoes, and toast. All food from local vendors. Excellent service (make sure you give generous tips!). Real food, real people. For lunch, open-faced roast beef sandwich is hard to beat. Top [t off with buttermilk pie. You will not be disappointed when you eat at Wanda's Roadside Cafe!

My wife and I were greeted at the door with smiles and a warm welcome. The coffee was good but the Kitchen Sink Omelette was "to live for"The vegetables in the omelette, (mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, onions etc...), we're fresh and not soggy like a typical omelette. We ordered crispy hash browns and they were crispy on both sides!The next time we are in the area we will definitely stop in for lunch or breakfast. I love the small town feeling of a local restaurant that serves food with love not just as perfunctory action of business.

Great roast beef and bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. Apple Pie Alamode was excellent! Good service and friendly.

Great food. Well worth couple miles off k10. We wanted something better than the same McDonald's food. And we got better fooe and more food to the same price if not cheaper depending what you order.

We love Wanda and her cafe! We were in on father's day and she was handing out free pastries to all the dad's. I am a little disappointed however that my husband was not offered one as he and I were in and out of the building chasing our two year old around. Also, we paid for but didn't receive our order of sausage. I didn't realize it until we left. Her strawberry rhubarb, brown sugar and buttermilk pies are so incredibly delicious. Despite our most recent experience we will be back. I know Wanda will make it right.

Great down home spot...slice of Americana diner...

This place is AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! Not expensive, and they treat you like family. They have mismatched plates and mugs... it reminds me of home. Highly suggest you giveng this place a try if you're in town and hungry.

Someone other than Wanda cooked our breakfast. Noticable difference. Omelet was runny if that's possible. Hashbrowns were crispy as requested. They redid my omelet and it was better. Stick with the over medium. Biscuits are fluffy, could of been warmer. Eaten here several times. Ready to give this place a do over. Normally very solid. Very limited seating.

It's like going to Wandas house for dinner, the atmosphere, people, the taste of the food, only the portions are bigger than I've ever seen in a restaurant. Affordable too

Great food well worth what I paid for. Ordered the Mushroom and bacon burger. "Plenty" of toppings came with it, lettuce, tomato and onion. Plenty of cheese melting gooey down the patty sides with mushrooms. Very good for the 7 dollars. Only draw back was I wish the burger came with fries.Best word to describe this place "cozy".

We had a great in this spot. We liked the fantastic ambience and the menu. The waiters are super attentive. I am content we eventually managed to eat here.

Great bacon and friendly staff!

Fair to average as far as the food is concerned though the water they serve on the side tasted godawful. It was hot inside. Their A/C must not have been working properly.

Must try the open roast beef sandwich and any pie. They're all so delicious.

Very kind and caring individuals working here coupled along with large and delicious homemade meals! Perfect place for breakfast and lunch!

Stopped by a couple times great service, wonderful waitress, all though the last time I stopped in wasn’t so great, the waitress (not the one who was normally there) was slow, felt less like a home-feel over all wasn’t good. I love the food and the atmosphere but safe to say I won’t be back if she’s the server
